This Baked Ziti recipe is my go to easy recipe for parties. It is such an easy baked Ziti recipe I hate to give it out when people ask me for it. I want them to think I spent hours on it when I didn’t. I’m willing to share it with you as long as you don’t tell anyone how easy it is. It will be our secret.

Dinner made easy
This baked Ziti recipe is great for parties but it also is great for a quick evening meal. Make it ahead and freeze it or make it in the morning and throw it in the oven later in the evening. It’s a quick meal to throw together after a long day at work. You will even have leftovers for lunch that tastes great. Yay!

Baked Ziti Recipe
I’m not going to make you read through a ton of paragraphs to get to the recipe. Don’t you just hate that? Okay here it is.
Ingredients:
1 pound of ground beef
1 box of Ziti pasta or Penne will work
1 64 ounce jar of spaghetti sauce ( i use Prego with meat)
32 ounces of Fiesta mix shredded cheese
Large casserole pan
Instructions for Baked Ziti
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Brown ground beef
Cook Ziti on stove top per instructions on box ( I do this while I brown the ground beef)

Pour the fat off of the ground beef and place in the casserole pan
Drain the water off of the Ziti
Place the ziti into the casserole pan
Combine the ground beef and Ziti
Add 1/2 of the cheese
Add spaghetti sauce. Use your judgement on how much. I like a lot to keep it moist.
Combine all by stirring it together.

Top it with more cheese. I like it covered. The cheesier the better. I put 32oz, of cheese, it’s up to you how much to put in.

Place in oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Serve and enjoy!

Wasn’t that a quick and easy recipe?
Not to mention delicious. This is one of those recipes that I get asked to make all of the time. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family.
Want to hear something funny? My niece just texted me for this recipe. She said her family was tired of eating spaghetti. I gave in and gave it to her.
