This chicken and noodles recipe is such a simple recipe to fix. It’s really not a recipe it’s food you can throw together to make a meal. You can use leftover chicken, chicken that you buy already cooked in the bag, rotisserie or cook your own. It’s that easy.

There are so many many different ways to create this chicken noodle recipe. Make it all from scratch, by making your own pasta, chicken and gravy. But that wouldn’t be a simple meal now would it?

This is a recipe that you can make even if you don’t have any leftover chicken and forgot to thaw out your meat. I do this often. Use a pressure cooker or as some call it an Instant Pot which is a brand name. The great thing about a pressure cooker is meat can be cooked up quickly even frozen. This meal can still be cooked in 45 minutes.

Just add bread and butter or a vegetable for a side.

Here’s How I make Chicken and Noodles.

What I like to do is cook up my own chicken and use already made ingredients for the rest.

Ingredients: (Serves 4 with leftovers)

2 boneless skinless chicken breast ( any boneless chicken pieces will work)

1 bag of egg noodles

3 cans or jars of your favorite chicken gravy

Directions:

Cook chicken in crock pot on high for about 4 hours or until fully cooked.

Once chicken is cooked boil noodles per directions on bag, then drain pasta

Shred chicken and combine noodles in a bowl

Add gravy and stir.

Heat in microwave for about 3 minute or warm to your liking.

Serve.

Simple recipes are great

This recipe is so simple that I don’t mind cooking it. I am not big on spending a lot of time in the kitchen. Some times I enjoy cooking for parties but not everyday. I tend to cook the easy way. My family asks for this meal a lot.

This is great for leftovers also! Just heat up and eat.

Enjoy,
