What Life Goals have you accomplished?
Everyone makes life goals when they are young. I remember back in Kindergarten the teacher asked the class what we wanted to do when we grow up.
Think back to when you were young. What was it you wanted to be when you grew up? Has it changed? Have you accomplished it?

I wanted to be a gymnast. That didn’t pan out. I never took any lessons except from my neighbor who was 4 years older then me. Plus once I hit teenage years that wasn’t what I wanted to do.
I changed over to being a nurse, then gave that up. What I am trying to say goals change with the season of our lives. Some we accomplish others we don’t.
What we want at one age is different then what we want when we get older. It’s okay if they change with time. Don’t get down on yourself because you haven’t achieved the goal you set 10 years ago. Keep trying to get there if you want to or if it’s changed let that one go.
Look back and think about all of the other ones you accomplished. It will be surprising how many you have accomplished. No matter how little or big they were. They were goals.

Goals are good
Making goals are a necessary thing to do in life. If we don’t have any goals then what are we doing? Just living day by day and seeing were it goes. That’s good for some but not for most people.
Setting goals for you will give you direction in your life an objective. I love making goals. Some I achieve and others I don’t. That’s okay. It doesn’t mean that you are a failure. It just means your life goals have changed or you’re still working towards them.
If you haven’t achieved some goals that you want to achieve keep working on those goals. But it is okay to start on some others also.
Size doesn’t matter
The size of you goal doesn’t matter. You can have big goals like buying an RV to travel the country in. Even a small goal like having a get together with friends. Each and every one is just as important to you as the other.
Goal
Goal
What I recommend is to have some small goals that you know you can achieve and then some larger ones that will take time or maybe change.
Turn your dreams/goals into reality
Having a dream is a way to achieve many things in your life. Without a dream there is no motivation in ones life.
If you woke up every morning without an objective it would just be a boring day. Every day would be the same just doing what ever comes along. A few days like that is good but not many.
This self quarantine time is a great example. At the start we thought it was going to be great. Doing nothing just watching Netflix. In time that got old.

We all need something else to live for. It might have been to declutter the home, start on a project, write letters to friends. All of those are goals to accomplish.

Go ahead and write some down
Sit down and reflect on the past. What was it that you said you wanted to do? Do you still want to accomplish it? If so write it down.
Make a list of small goals and then large goals and post them were you can see them every day. Start marking off the ones that you accomplished.

You will be surprised at how many you can achieve. Remember life goals are good. They give us an objective to work toward.
What are your goals?
